If you cannot communicate in Japanese, please arrange for a medical interpreter.
However, a medical interpreter other than family members is not accepted for deliveries.
If you wish to give birth at our hospital, the patient or a family member who can accompany the patient at all times need to be able to speak Japanese.

Delivery sometimes requires urgent medical care.
If we consider it impossible to communicate adequately in Japanese, we will refer you to a general hospital due to the potential danger of an emergency.
